Department of Operations Research and Artificial Intelligence

About Us

The staff of the Department of Operations Research and Artificial Intelligence conduct scientific research on the development of operations research methods, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT), as well as their applications in information systems supporting the design, management, and control of complex objects and systems. The research aims to develop innovative solutions based on information systems for practical challenges arising in various areas of human activity, both technical and humanistic.

From 2021 to 2023, the Department participated in the project Digital Research Infrastructure for the Humanities and Arts Sciences (DARIAH-PL) (POIR.04.02.00-00-D006/20), coordinated by the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center.

In 2024-2025, research is being continued and funded under the project KPOD.01.18-IW.03-0013/23, coordinated by IPI PAN.

The head of the Department is dr. hab. inż. Rafał Różycki, prof. PUT
